QNB Strength in Numbers
After being recognized as World's Strongest Bank by Bloomberg Magazine, QNB wanted to create a TV spot that highlighted this momentous achievement.
As a major corporate entity, we didn't have the luxury of doing something overly creative. So we focused on creating a spot that was smart, strategic and relevant. The script was based on the financial achievements of the bank.
However, we did two things differently.
1. We didn't Westernize the spot. Many times, commercials of this nature feature expats, and English natives. We made sure that Qataris were the focal point of the ad.
2. It was shot professionally. Unfortunately, most TV spots that are made in Qatar have a low quality of production. But our insistence on maintaining high standards, by importing an international director and production crew, made the spot unlike any other in the market.
VW Toureg Loves the Outdoors
To help launch the VW Toureg into the Omani market, we were asked to come up with a way to create a brand identity for the new vehicle.
And so we did, without having to say a word.
If you've ever been to Oman, you know that it can be a driver's paradise because of its unique terrains and glorious landscapes.
Based on that insight, we branded the car as a vehicle that loves the outdoors, along with a personality to go with it.
The spot makes the car look fun, exciting and like true theatre, doesn't reveal itself until the very end.
